The breakfast options are limited, particularly for those who prefer a more traditional western-style breakfast.

Free WiFi was working perfectly. We really enjoyed jian li harmony from the moment we entered. Nice comfy base for vacation in Guangzhou.

The hotel advertises western restaurant and lobby bar. The lobby bar closed down many years ago. No western food available.

Hotel has very good location, Near Guangzhou Subway, Jusco Mall, Jusco Supermarket, Restaurant like Mcdonalds & Starbucks. We attended Canton fair and they have free bus, it's very convenient. Breakfast is also good. Staff are very friendly and the room is very big. i will come back again next time i visit guangzhou.

During my New Year's stay, I was pleased with the comfortable and clean room. the hotel's location was fantastic for easily getting around and exploring the local area, as it was only a short walk away from the railway station. the shuttle service offered was convenient and efficient, making travel to and from the hotel easy.

The staff's lack of language proficiency made communication a challenge at times. the restaurant experience was lackluster, with limited menu choices and unappetizing dishes.

Very good value for the money. Nice, clean and well-equipped but still a very low price (using Booked.net). Excellent location close to the railway, metro and bus stations. In spite of this not much disturbing traffic.

It was sometimes difficult to communicate with people in the reception due to language problems.

Generally pleased with this hotel at the Booked.net rate (259 RMB + 15% tax). The published rate (at the hotel reception desk) would have been very expensive however. The room was big, well appointed and very clean. The bed was comfortable and everything worked (that is quite unusual hereabouts!). The location is excellent for anybody arriving by train - but it is a long ride from the airport. The taxi fare was 125RMB each way.

We used taxis 2 or 3 times to go to and from the hotel. Invariably the drivers did not know how to find the hotel and dropped us at the station (3 minutes walk away). Recommend you take driving instructions from the website if you want a taxi driver to find it. The hotel receptiion staff acted as though they were doing us a favour. That is not unusual in this part of the world. The hotel backs onto a huge railway junction, just outside the station. Trains roll past all hours of the day and night - great for trainspotters!

Great location for exploring the city, with easy access to public transportation. The hotel staff was friendly and always willing to help, and the room was spacious and clean. I appreciated the free shuttle service to the fair, and the fact that the hotel offered a variety of massage services was an added bonus.

Although the room was clean, some of the furniture looked a bit worn and in need of replacement. The breakfast could have been better in terms of variety, but it was still decent.

1 cockroach in the wall... BUT THIS IS CHINAAAAAAA!!!! (Really I hate cockroach but in china a cockroach it's a common animal...)

2 bed and free breakfast we were told on arrival that only one person could have breakfast??? We were told that hotel was busy so there was no room service when we request for ice while 15% room service was charged.We left after 2 nights instead of 5 and don't ever plan to come back even for free.We were belittled every time we wanted any service as we got a got bargain from Booked.net

Definitely my best stay in Guangzhou till now. Close to East Railway Station, 100m walking distance. Easy train connection with Kowloon Station (Hong Kong). Young staff on reception desk, helpful, some language problems but with a great desire to please guests. Do not miss massages offer, very professional. Good room internet connection. Large and clean room with hard bed, for me was a good sleep. Maybe best ratio price/comfort during Canton Fair. Shuttle bus to Fair for free. I'll be back in Jian Li Harmony Hotel for next fair.
